Less stuff!

Most of us have a lot of stuff! Intentionally or not. Many of us, me included don't even realize how much stuff they really have.
Crazy enough that Alex and I got here with just two backpacks of stuff less than two years ago!
We now live in a house! Two people in a two bedroom house with a yard and a huge balcony.
Believe it or not but we're running out of space!
It's unbelievable how much stuff accumulates in so short a time.
Like, where did it all come from??
I dunno.
Just in the last couple of days we started selling off our stuff. Regardless of what it is or weather we like it or not  (we do like our stuff) and the feeling that gives me is a little bit of giving up the stuff we put in hours of work for, but moreso the feeling that the more stuff goes, the least stuff we have to worry about.
It's like a bit of a boundary that goes with each item that goes. It makes me lighter.
Incredible!
So plain said. The least stuff we have in our house the more free I somehow feel.
I don't know how it's going to be after more stuff is gone ( I'll keep you posted on that ) but so far I'm not really missing anything.
We've got all we need to prepare food and something to sit on , it's all good.
Let's see where we're going.  I invite you all to take on the journey with us and benefit from our personal experience.
See you next time! Stay tuned!

Post No.2

Hi guys,

first of all I'd like to thank everyone who reads what goes around in my mind.
This is my second Blog post EVER and I'm still trying to get the hang of how it really works and how to do it in a way that YOU guys like it and find it interesting, hence keep reading!

I just added a subscribe option to  my blog so that each and everyone can now get updates on mew content via email. Isn't that phantastic!?!

Ok now!

What braught me to actually creating a blog and me wanting to share my stuff with you?

I do read blogs every now and again for all kinds of stuff and I like that there are so many people out there who have done what I like to do and these people are keen to give away all their information and tell the world about their experiences.

AND ITS ALL FOR FREE!

It not only for free but it's also more often than not really inspiring to see people do amazing things like travelling the world or climbing Mount Everest and so on. So by reading those amazing experiences you can kind of jump in their shoes and relive the stuff they have done. GREAT !

Now we (Alex my girlfriend and myself) dream about being an inspiration to people as well.

For starters we managed to stay together after being a couple for only three months before I left Germany for Australia.
So I've been in Australia and Alex was back home in Germany. For a whole year!

So it's fair enough that most people back home thaught "ok Mayo and Alex are a couple for like three months, Mayo is gone "down under" and Alex is in Germany - of course it's not gonna last!!!"

Well that was about three years ago!  We now are TOGETHER in Australia, we are still a couple and are working together like a well greased machine if that makes sense ;)

After about a year in Australia I flew back home to see my family, friends and of course Alex!

We sold a lot of stuff back home, celebrated christmas and new years in Germany and came back to Sydney.

Together, as a couple, a team and best friends!

What we braught wih us was two backpacks and a truckload of hope that it would all work out well for us....

What if

The big question.  "WHAT IF?

Well first of all I certainly don't always know what if!

But I do know what if not.
If we dont do this and that we'll never know what would have happened if we'd done it.

So it sometime might be well worth taking the risk and go and try.

In my particular case it was weather to quit my job and leave my home country Germany and go to Australia and travel around (and run the risk that something might goes wrong) or keep dreaming and wishing about it and stay in my comfort zone and never knowing what would have been, how I would have been able to develop and learn and grow.

Now, some three years later I'm able to write a blog in more or less decent english  while sitting on a train in Sydney.
